Just wanted to share story:
Got haircut today, stylist (beautician? aesthetician?) had hair done like Violet's!
That's funny!

My mom bought the movie on DVD for me yesterday so I'm excited about seeing it again and hopefully haveing some inspirational ideas! Also, I can't wait for the 12th book even if it's not exactly college level reading. Cheesy It's ok, I'll admit I'm a geek.

Aww, leelee, I feel the same way. Imagine my disappointment when, after finishing book 11, I learned book 12 did not currently exist. Ahhh!!! I just started reading the series a few months ago, and did not know how many books had been written.

I read The Basic Eight and it was odd, but I liked it.  He's *really* obsessed with triptychs! (probably butchered that spelling)

Daniel Handler does a lot of stuff with the Mcsweeney's/Believer crew... I've missed out on a bunch of events up in San Francisco, sadly.  But I did get to see him at a Series of Unfortunate Events movie screening last month, and he was hilarious.  The panel (exec. producer, director, movie theater moderator) was SO dull and self-important, and he was just so deadpan and funny and made it totally worthwhile.

I keep picturing him as being quite hot... Kind of a smart, droll George Clooney meets Keanu Reeves (in the Replacements, or Speed) type. Hmm;)
