Your stitching skills are stunning, really. I've totally got my impressed face on right now. And to do a 40-wrap bullion takes some serious focus (last time I attempted a 25 I wasn't paying attention, and it unfurled in my hands. My needle would have flown across the room if it hadn't been connected to the thread  Cheesy).

Thank you all for your kind remarks. How long did it take me? I probably stitched it over the course of about 3 weeks, but didn't do a lot at a time - eyesight issues! The 40 wrap snail went like a dream first time. I've since tried to repeat it, but it's gone wrong every single time (about 10 really bad attempts!)
