First post and first finished granny square blanket! Would love to hear your opinions/suggestions (apologies...as it's my first post no photos allowed!)

This is quite small really...maybe 50 x 80 cm but it's for my soon-to-be-born new neice or nephew so just needs to fit in the bottom of a moses basket!

Doesn't look too bad from a distance but I'm a bit worried it looks scruffy close-up...

I love the idea of backing also!!  I didn't understand "scruffy", but I think it will be loved and carried about for a long time.  I love the colors too, very fresh!!
