So after going through a time where everything I crocheted was for someone else I reserved the right to be selfish and make something for myself. So I made an Anne of Green Gables doll. She is currently residing on my bookshelf safeguarding her stories  Grin

I still want to make her a carpet bag but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Let me know what you think!

That's always been one of my absolute favorite books. I think she's adorable! Now you need to make Gilbert!  Grin

Thanks! Diana's actually next on my list. And then I'll try for Gilbert. I've never made a boy doll so I'm stuck on how I would make the hair.

I saw this pic from the new posts and recognized 'Anne' right away! Great job!

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

How cute!  I love that book!  I need to re-read it.  It's been years since I've read it and it's one of my favorite books!

Thank you everyone! I love the books as well, obviously  Cheesy, and a few years ago I got to take a roadtrip with my mom and sister up to PEI. It is still one of my favorite vacations ever and made my love of the books grow.

She is so great! I loved both the Anne books and movies when I was little.

Don't mess with me; I have a crochet hook and I know how to use it!
