TeenyBunny I always love your work! These outfits are superb!!!!! The cloches and capes are tres chic, but the structure on Curly's dress is just amazing!! I also love how if you put either of the twins in the very same outfit you get two totally different looks. They so adorable!

I'm curious about your work, I know you make most things yourself, is this the case with the cape and cloches? I currently have a fleecy cape cut from a 1970's pattern for my angel for winter, but your cape looks great for spring/summer evenings. The cloche.. well, I'm just partial to the style. I doubt my kiddo would ever wear it. 7yr olds are so picky!

Ridiculous amount of cuteness is a correct name for this thread. Your daughters and the dresses you made for them are beyond cute! I am totally stealing that pintucking idea for a dress for my dd. Good job!

Thanks so much everyone for all the very nice compliments!!

I designed everything from scratch. The hats have been a work in progress to get the fit, but I finally cracked it and Curly's hat came out perfectly! The capes, I started with a wide rectangle and shaped the fronts into a curve. I gathered the middle of the back, but after I put all the binding on it was too wide so I added an inverted pleat to the center back and now it fits well.

The pintucked dress started as a rectangle of fabric. The tucks are about an inch deep. I ironed them toward the center and sewed the decorative stitch super close to the edge to hold them down.

I love personal swaps, I currently need art (paintings or something to hang on a wall) but I'd be up for anything.
