I thought the 'scully' potholder was really cool, and I wanted to practice changing color. When I finished the first skull though, I couldn't stop! I figured I'd keep going and make a scarf out of it. Alas, as I hadn't planned this from the start my hook was a bit big and it all came out a bit wide for a scarf. That was well over a year ago now, and after moving house I found my big ol' strip of skulls at the bottom of my yarn bag. It all ended happily though. In my new place, I finally have some real room for my craft gear, and it turns out the ugly scarfling makes a perfect table runner to stop my sewing machine from slipping in it's new home.
