I always loved hello kitty ever since i was a little kid, even today i love the kee tee.... Cheesy
but being a bit of a hippie/boho woman, i combined both into these sandals.  i also added a rubber bottom so i can wear these outside.

the little ears even flap!

Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

I'm not a Hello Kitty fan.. I don't dislike it, but it doesn't really do anything for me, either.  That being said... I LOVE these sandals!  They are just adorable.  I like that you put rubber soles into them too.  I haven't worn knit or crocheted socks or slippers or anything similar since I was a kid, because I've got super sensitive feet and the stitches just irritate the bottoms of them sooo badly.  I'd wear these in a heartbeat!
Where did you find the rubber soles?

These are absolutely fabulous!  I wouldn't hesistate to make something like this. Even without the adorable hello kitty (love the ears) I would still love to make them.  Great job!
