Hello! Grin
I'm new to Craftster and crafting in general but full of enthusiasm to start making cute and useful things! By the way, if i'm doing something wrong - let me know, i don't want to break any rules.
Yesterday, i found two wonderful wooden closet shelves right outside my building.
Heres a photo:

They are square, about 16 inches long on each side (~40 cm).
Any ideas what can i do with them?

Cut a slot in each about half way down the middle about as wide as the boards are thick. This way you can stick them into each other forming an X. Then use them as a base for a small side table and put a piece of glass on top of them as table top. You would need some powertools like a jigsaw but its not complicated. If you want to try it I can give you some more detailed instructions.

PS I know it would only be a small side table but thats what came to mind when i saw the boards. Btw, what material are they? Are they solid wood or particle board with laminate?

Thanks for the advice!
I love the idea, but i'm afraid it's not very practical in my house, with my 3 yr. old nephew running around. My lovely side table will turn to glass shards in minutes  Wink
Thanks anyway!
