Without further ado, detail shots of the Garden Dotee made by Alwaysinmyroom!

There is soooo much detail here that some better shots were required:

Here's a long shot, showing her in her pot, which is decorated all over with gold flowers, dots, and flourishes, and tiny black swirls and dots. She has straight leaves and spanish moss filling in the top, and several knotted wool tails in pale orange.

Here is her lovely face which is 2 layers of felt, each blanket stitched in place, highlighted with pale green beads, and embroidered for details. She has a pale purple necklace with a tiny dragonfly charm. Her body's fabric is a garden print of leaves, branches, and birds, and her head is a pale green fabric. The back is signed and dated.

Here is a detail shot of her hat and hanger:

Her flower headdress is a pale purple flower all stitched down, with a few petals stitched lower and highlighted with pale purple beads (looks like dew). The hanger is braided ribbons in 2 shades of green.

SO much detail, and so beautifully done! Very sexy, indeed! THANK YOU, Alwaysinmyroom!

aww--I miss her but she looks happy!  ha ha You found my signature on the back! (but I knew you would! Wink )

I am a bit embarrassed by my embroidery as I am not an embroiderer (?), but I knew I had to give it a shot since you had so much lovely embroidery on the one you sent me!  It has given me incentive to learn more stitches so I can embellish more things I make!

Thanks for posting more pictures...I am so glad you like her!

I really do! The embroidery is lovely, and the details are wonderful. Crack for a craftaholic, definitely!
Both my girls are now awaiting a proper display area, which I am thinking about.

I am drawn to this idea of using a towel bar and "S" hooks to display these...I found a simple chrome one in my garage from a previous bathroom remodel that I think would work just fine!

Still excited to receive my last two!

My hubby got my pictures to upload.
Here is the beautiful tree fairy/nymph that Spiffyhink sent me.

She also sent me a lovely note and some cute paper moths that I forgot to take a picture of. Thank you Spiffyhink.

Next is a the first cute snowman dotee I ever got from sezouli.

Thank you sezouli.

And here is how I am displaying my dotees right now.

I may have to come up with something else, because I am running out of room to attach them.

I love your display...kewlmomma--and yes, you are running out of room!

Is the snowman made of yo-yo's? Cheesy  now that is a good idea!

love the eyes of the tree nymph!

and......here is my dotee from smmarrt!  The beads at the top say "I <3 dotees" and the dancing figure is in one of my favorite colors! Purple!!! The hanger is so unique... I love it and it will find a special place in my craftroom!  Thank you so much smmarrt!

I received today from themuppet! Check this guy out!! He's a sweet Day of the Dead Dotee with felted details and a painted (I think) face. His face is deffinetly my favorite part- it has so much detail and personality. I just love him!! He's already making himself at home with my other babies.
