Can't believe we missed so many dotees! Everyone seems to be getting really creative this round!  Harry Potter looks almost like a puppet! The sea themed dotee seems so inspired & the bottle at the end of the tail is very clever! Really like the fish beads on the cats tail too; awesome that they came from earrings! The baby doll is so cute & doll-like! Using a paintbrush & pantyliner for a dotee was quite outside the box & unique! The fabric that was chosen for the bird looks great & the branch was a good idea! "Tentacle Girl" is very bizarre & art-y! After seeing some of the stuff you all are coming up with really makes us anxious to receive!!!

Okay - second dotee arrived! (I'm so glad I mailed mine out on Friday or I would have been panicing!) - Here is the awesome peacock dotee made by Piratecoley - her friend has a peacock farm so....lucky me!    I also got another little mask (I think Madgypsy posted it with her dotee too) - but soeone seems to have obsconded with it...hmmmm - so...here we go:


great beading and painted sculpy face! (right?) - some adorable penguin stickers came too - but what do you know - one of my daughters immediately took ownership - haha!

I also have to say that Pirate included the most magnificent charm bracelet that she made for me for a personal swap - I'm going to post it in the jewelry category as soon as I snap a few pics - you're awesome Pirate!!

I'm so glad you two like your Dotees!! The crazy oriental faces were found at a thrift store- I got a dozen of them for 80 cents. I foresee a set of Samuri Dotees in the near future. lol.

thisbird- I'm glad the feathers didn't get crushed- I was so worried about packing them!! The face is sculpty and my first time not using a mold. Yours was the first Dotee I've made with that body shape and I think it's my new favorite.

themuppet- yours was my second non-mold sculpty face. I had fun going outside my comfort zone. Here's the picture I took of yours before I sent- it shows off the tentacles a little better (didn't think I'd ever say that!).

piratecoley--both of them are wonderful!  very colorful and the shapes are nice as well---I bet you had a blast making them!  They both are truly art dolls!

Thank you! I was a little unsure about the faces, as they're nothing compared to some of the amazing sculpty things I see here on Craftster.

Still... I like to try new things and I figure one of these days I'll try something and it'll be BAM!! And I'll have found my true calling/talent in life.

Look at this adorable shroomie I got from thisbirdsabsurd! I just love him. He is felted, something I just MUST learn to do after holding this little dudelette.
