of course, now I need to know what the red cardinal is made of!! bluepaisen sends such interesting things that creep me out in a good way... Smiley

He is beautiful red on red "brocade-ish" fabric with, of course - little black beaded legs and a twisty little branch. Smiley

that paintbrush dotee is absolutely wonderful!!  Her bristly hair!  The way the shape of the brush makes her body!  All the wicked cool accessories! I really LOVE her.

I just love these dotees!!  Using a paint brush...how clever;  and that birdie is too cute.  Bluepaisan, don't be surprised if you find your kitty stolen in the middle of the night.  I need more kitty dotees.

Holy crap, these are all so wonderful! I LOVE the little baby (I've been on a cute kick lately), and that bird is so elegant! I had no idea that all of these would be so creative.

I'm also curious to know how you guys display these. I really want to put mine on my wall, but I'm thinking a normal hat rack will just look too plain, and they don't usually have enough pegs anyway. Any ideas?

Some people use wire racks that are used to hold necklaces.  I just bought a big bulletin board for my sewing/craft/computer room.  I haven't hung it up yet.  I have to get a picture hanging kit that has the eyelet screws to put on each end of the board back and string the wire through them and then hang it on heavy duty bulldogs.  Meanwhile my dotees have been living in a small box and there just isn't any more room for them.

I am going to paint one of those expandable peg things ---they have lots  about 10 pegs...I am thinking that I can put two or more side by side on my wall if I need to...until I get more dotees, I can use it to hang other things I get in swaps!

I am excited now to get my other dotees!

I use those - hat racks - they look like xxx. I have four above my desk and I will add two more tomorrow and move the dotees around. I'll post a photo tomorrow when I have time.
