I made one of these previously to try out the pattern (McCalls 4861) and my friend and then roommate confiscated it to her costume collection...and then I missed it. So I made another. Improved. Better. So here it is for your viewing pleasure:

the front - I left off the lacing in the front and traded it for D rings and large snaps, which is WAY easier to get in and out of though I should have left more of a tail to pull on to release the snaps
the back

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my phone as I generally have to borrow the camera from work if I want one

Interior - somehow the "ditches" did not match up on both sides of the corset so please excuse the slightly off seams
closeup of the front which should have come out straighter for all the measuring I did

I wanted to go for the bondage strap look, and maybe add D rings and straps from the bottom but...I'm not so sure.

Oh I love this! I made this one up a year or so back and having both sides lace was a total drag. I love your mod Smiley

This looks great. I think the D-ring and snap closure combo is awesome, it is quite a statement without being over-the-top. IT look sgood and sturdy too. I can't be doing with flimsy wasit cinchers.

I love how the front of it looks and Im sure that adds alot more functionallity Grin You did such a good job it looks amazing. If Id ever seen it I would have guessed that someone paid alot of money for it rather than have made it themselves!
