I've admired triptychs like this for a long time and decided to finally try making my own. I used acrylic paints and sharpie. Originally I was just going to do all the black in sharpie but it didn't look too great so I went over it in black acrylic paint which makes it pop a lot more. The sharpie is great for getting the design down initially though.

Thanks for looking guys!  Grin

They are both beautiful, but I really like the yellow one because of the way you staggered it to go up the branch instead of side-by-side. Great idea!

Those are gorgeous! I would absolutely hang either of those on my wall. Especially like the staggered effect of the second.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I love them! I don't think I can pick a favorite but I really like the colors on the yellow one. Smiley

those turned out fabulous!  I do like the yellow one the most because of the different (and very interesting!) arrangement.  and the colour contrast is tres cool Smiley

I love both, but the yellow is my favorite because the birds are together and the tree seems to be leafing out.  Lovely work!
