Joining the cavalcade of Gibbous-inspired clothing, my spring dress made from a pair of linen pants, a lovely piece of fabric I got from lovesclutter, scraps, and buttons:

I especially like how the dress flutters in the wind:

(the sheep were actually more scared of me, because I was "dressed funny."

Ohh, it's gorgeous!  Great job!  (Poor sheep.  They just don't know fab dresses when they see 'em.)

you're dress is so pretty and feminine, and I love the teal color.  That style is so cool- I have never seen it before the Swap you mentioned.

Thank you all!   Cheesy  I especially enjoyed making this and I'll be wearing it at the spring party my husband and I are hosting at our place tomorrow.

did you dye the fabric and the lace?

I really love the front skirt detail--it looks fun and very lovely!

I love the dress, especially love the pinned up part.

Thanks!   Nothing was dyed for this project, I was just fortunate to get a great piece from lovesclutter, and have things that went with it just right.

Oh, I should mention the basis of the bodice is the contour bust by mynailsarepink1:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=317017.0
