Thank you so much, you're all so encouraging.  Smiley This is a technique I'm developing using scrap mattress foam and cotton quilt batting to build up the features, then refining them using fabric.  These are linens and cottons from used clothing.

I still feel a long way from where I want to be as far as subtlety of expression - at this point it's still more luck than skill.  Tongue

I'm trying to work the technique into some useable items instead of just art pieces.
