though these are in fact christmas ( ! i know! ) decorations i decided to omit this from the title to avoid causing distress or alarm Wink
i made a whole lot of bauble for christmas and realised that i didn't have much in a blue and white theme to match them so our tree looked somewhat sparce...next year will be different!

these were cut from a slab of scrap clay with cookie cutters.
the blue stars were painted with a layer of white glaze which was allowed to dry. star shaped stickers were then stuck on and the entire shape was given a few layers of the blue glaze. when touch dry (if you let it dry thoroughly it becomes much harder to peel of the stickers. touch dry is easiest Wink )the stickers were peeled off to reveal white stars.
the largest measures just over 3 inches in length.

These are great. I think they would also make a really cool mobile for a baby's room.
