I made this for the Alice in Craftsterland 2 swap and I really love how it came out!

I was inspired by the book cover of the Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass book I was reading:
http://www.amazon.com/Alices-Adventures-Wonderland-Through-Looking-Glass/dp/145057761X/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1270184253&sr=1-6
AND this fabulous fabric wall art by javamama
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=326559.0

So, without further ado...

This was just made with craft felt and embroidery thread.  When I was done, I stretched it over an extra canvas I had.  I will definitely be making another similar one for me this time! Smiley

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I like it! Really, really cool. i like the retro mid-century colors and shapes paired with the Victorian silhouette of Alice.

Well done!

Wow!  Very nicely done!  you did a great job with the felt, such nice clean lines.  Sometimes it's hard to avoid that fuzzy edge look with felt but you nailed it!

Wow! What a great interpretation of the story. I really like the bright colors with the black silhouette of Alice. Neat!!
