Lavender all the way. (Though I suppose its a flower not an herb, but still lol) I use lavender in EVERYTHING lol. Can't wait to plant some at my new place Soon!! Seeding soooN! I am so excited! I have to find a half barrel so I can do an herb container on my deck.

I would have to say lavender and calendula. I love the aroma of lavender and they both such versatile herbs.

I planted lavender this year and they've sprouted!

I'm still toiling away on the big item. I'm going out tomorrow to get a supply or two for another project.

In life, (and cooking) basil. I like rosemary too.

i've got soo many ideas it's hard to narrow down exactly what i'm going to make. but i'm working on that lol.

i have a whole shelf of herbs (ok i lied i have a whole 2 shelves full of herbs) that i use regularly. but i have to say my favorite herbs to use are lavender, calendula, white sage and peppermint. i love mixing a little bit of lavender and mint in with green tea when i'm brewing it. hmm i might have to transplant a rosebush this year. my lavender plant is slowing taking over the side flower garden.

hmmm, herbs....I use a lot of sage. I am always burning it whether it be incense, bundles or loose for the charcoals. Next to that I use a lot of basil and rosemary in my cooking. I am planting an herb garden for once this year and have all of those growing along with some dill and lavender.

I'm halfway done with another item (began it while the other one was drying....) and it looks good so far first time doing that... So we'll see!

I adore lavender too. So easy to use, for many stuff
As a teen I used to put some in my pillow for a better night.

I love lavender!! I tend to use mostly herbs I grow personally so in the past I have used a lot of Bergamot (bee balm), lavender, dill, mint, comfrey, hops, rosemary, lemon balm, and yarrow as they have been in my gardens. I haven't gotten to work much in the yard of my new house yet, so who knows what I may be using going forward.

Manman...I wanted to tell you that I made the felt bunnies for my family for Easter and I finally got to give them on Saturday. They were a big hit. Thank you so much for the pattern. I told them all you were amazing and shared.

It's funny that lavender is such a favourite with everyone; me too. There's a building between the streetcar stop and work that has a patch of lavender growing along the sidewalk, and in the summer I often surreptitiously bend down and pick a stem as I go by. I bruise it a little between my fingers and put it in my pocket, so that throughout the day I get occasional little wafts of lavender scent. No sign of sprouts yet, but I'm hoping it'll come back this spring.

I woke up about four this morning with this great idea. I couldn't get back to sleep so I got up and roughly sketched it out. It's probably ridiculously too much work, but it'd be lovely, I'm pretty sure Maman_Tattoo would like it, and I do have most of the materials. I'll try to do a proper drawing this evening and see if I can produce something to work from; if I do I might not be able to resist doing it, in spite of myself. I'm rather hoping I'll look at this morning's sketch and think "What the heck?"
