I forgot to post, but I signed up. Yay Beltane.

I agree with Maman, zombie_queen. Feel free to ask questions and join in. This is a very open group.  Smiley

In fact, Zombie_Queen, I can't think of a more accepting, less intimidating way to step into Paganism than this. Nobody will say you're doing it all wrong, or call you a fluffy bunny or a wiccette, and it's a great way to get some basic ritual/altar stuff that has real meaning. Plus, this will force you to do a pile of reading and research on Beltane and there's nothing wrong with starting by knowing a lot about one small subject!

Thank you all for kind words of encouragement. I'll fill in the questionnaire tonight after I put the kids to bed.

I have sent in my questionnaire for the card only part. I wish I had more time to do the full swap though!

I have never done this kind of swap before. How exactly does the card part work? Smiley

Yay for all signed up!

The card swap: Works like a chain mail list, I send you the person you send to, another person sends 1 card to you. (So if you are B, A will send to you and you (B) will send to C, so each of you gets 1 card from the person "before" you and sends a card to the person "after" you. )

Or visually: A->B ->C->A

Hope that helps.

Yup! That was way simple and I should have figured it out from your description on page 1... haha  Cheesy

Thanks!

Thanks, Cayce, for asking, and h_g for the explanatory diagram. I realized I hadn't quite got my head around it either. So we'll know who we're sending a card to, but not who we'll receive a card from, is that right?

Thanks Wulf!

Ok, so I imagined it like this: I'll have a list going. Everyone will "know" who is before and after them, but I will only send your address and personal info to the person sending you a card. That way, you only need worry about 1 set of info, but I'll make the list public so you know who sends to whom (I have forgotten my high school grammar rules!)

As in:

A (gets info on B)
B (gets info on C)
C (gets info on A)

Everyone can see this list (ABC) but I'll only PM B's info to A, not the whole group.

Clear as mud?  Cheesy

I really want to do this swap, but I'm going away from the 5th to the 12th of April and I won't have internet acess. I'd still be able to craft and send by the deadline, but I don't know if the organiser would be too happy about me being out of touch for a week...  Undecided
