My sil and I found a bunch of these cool looking, old, singly wrapped balloons and decided to save them from the landfill! After being blown up they had a really cool shape, so we knew they had to be Tweedledum and Tweedledee!

Their hats and feet are made out of Egg shell carton!

What do you think?

C & C Welcome!

Oh, this is a great idea! I have about 100 of those balloons under my bed that I don't need now that we're expecting our first in September.  I have a great idea for a nursery decoration now.

Thanks, Mare!

How fun! I'll bet the kids adore these! I think I'll make some for my neighbor friends. I'm allergic to latex so I have tons of these balloons laying around!

Nice!
This reminds me of those things we had as a kid, something like a pom pom with glue on feet and googley eyes and stuff.

The expressions are perfect!

I was wondering if the ribbed ballons can be painted?  They might be more fun since they have that texture on them...

I know what you're talking about! Good eye, those were the inspiration for the feet!

Ribbed work just fine, and you can probably work the ribs into some of the design elements! THanks for asking!

Also, as you can see, one of these uses the studded variety!
