My friend asked me to craft her wedding reception centerpieces and of course I said YES!

Her colors are pink & red with accents of black and white.  She gave me free creative license to do whatever I want and it's totally going to be a surprise to her when they enter the reception, so I just need to show someone in the mean time!

Bear with me as the pictures definitely don't do them justice.  They are really sparkly and gorgeous in person, I swear!

Those things that look like little black & white pebbles are actually googly eyes (shh!).  I thought they were so cute and I was able to get a few hundred of them in the budget.  I'm going to scatter them around the centerpieces and down the middles of the tables.

I've been saving tubes fooooorever (well, 9 months) to have enough for all of the tables.  Ahhh!  Finally done.

Her wedding is next weekend, so wish me luck!  I only have 4 hours to setup, so I hope I can get it all done in time!

That is so clever!! Ever so much better than the boring old stuff you see at weddings today.

It's going to be beautiful. I hope you'll add pics of the reception after the event.

My daughter is graduating from high school in May. I wonder if I can adapt this theme for a graduation party. Maybe if I put little mortarboards on the birds?

I really like that these are a departure from the usual boring old wedding centerpieces. And recycling-woo!
