I saw that changeable purse on TV and said Pa-Shaw! I can make one of those! So here it is!

I made one in a nice neutral tone to go with everything.

The other side has this nice earthy pattern that says go green!

Then I made this one for when I'm feeling spunky I love the cool graphic print!

Here is a close up of the knot work I did to attach the handles.

I plan to make one to go with every outfit!

Comments and questions welcomed.

You know I love recycling projects!!

Love the neutral one the best, but I can see using the splash of red (which is my favorite color!!) for most of my outfits!

I sort of see how you did the knot so it can be interchanged, but I was wondering if you were going to make a tute on how you did it?  I am afraid I would never get it undone to interchange the bags!!

Thanks for posting!

What a great idea! I love the handle, too. It's a great accessory for any bag.

Clever recycling idea. I'm adding this to my list!

I think I need one of these! Was it difficult to make, and to change the bags?

Tute please!

I love how adaptable this project is!  Not only can you change the colours to suit your outfit, but you could change the size of the bag to suit what you're carrying.  It'd made an awesome project bag!

I failed knot work at Girl Guides so I think that even with a tute this bag would be too difficult for me. But i'll be wisting it and fingers crossed that one of my swap partners will make it for me!

I used a knot common to macrame and competitive sailing to secure the purse to the handle.
