Just finished my first quilt last week - it was the project from 2 quilting classes at my local shop.  I'm hooked!  This is actually my 2nd quilt but the first one still isn't done yet (it is much larger!)  The title "Psychedelic Seasons" comes from the shapes of a snowflake, flower, leaf, and swimming pool - ha!  There are plenty of mistakes but I learned a lot and I am hoping they can only get better from here.  It is already washed and on its way to my friend as a late Christmas/Birthday present.  Enjoy!

And because I love seeing pictures of folded quilts:

Great job ... especially for a "beginner!!"  Grin

The only purpose of the day job is to buy the craft supplies!! Cheesy  Seriously, I LOVE making personalized crafts. I now have a line of hand-crafted fans and notecards using the Zentangle (R) technique. I have also become a Certified Zentangle Teacher and teach other artforms and techniques.

Cheesy  Great job! I love the black/bright combo, too and I'm sure your friend is going to LOVE this gift.

I do believe you are totally hooked!!

I think you are going to have to pry it away from your 18 pound paper weight lol.  Doesn't look like he is going anywhere!!
