April Fools: Fancy Earrings and Necklace

Every year the Spanish girls here put me to shame with their fancy fiesta jewellery. They always wear such beautiful, big bright things. This year I have made my own, and hopefully it'll go down well at the posh party I'm attending at the town hall this weekend!

Ignore the top, I have a fancy dress to wear this set with


Since I can only wear light earrings, I decided to use some small plastic cups for the base of my earrings.
But I don't think you can tell that's how they started out


And this is the necklace! I'm so pleased with how it turned out because it's made from toilet rolls (for the chain) and lolly/popsicle sticks!
Again, I don't think people will notice, and hopefully it won't rain!

Oh my goodness, those are so beautiful! I very rarely wear jewelry due to allergies but I would totally wear these, allergies be d***ed!  Would it be possible to get a tutorial for these? I have a big date coming up and I think these would rock!
