I've been crafting like crazy lately - trying to develop a stockpile. Unfortunately due to a mishap with my blanket this morning, I seem to have a rather badly strained wrist (I really shouldn't be typing - naughty me!). I think I need to give my wrist a few nights break...at least, until it isn't painful to move anymore.

Anyhow - on with the goodies!  Please excuse the colours if they seem a bit wonky - I can never take good clear photographs at night.

I haven't had a chance to make tsumami flowers lately - so it was a lot of fun getting back into this.  These flowers are around 1.5 inches wide.  I'm debating on whether to turn them into brooches or hairclips - OR - to let the person choose themselves (when they eventually go on my store, that is).  I've got tons more cut and prepared to make. Fun!

Yummy flower brooches

You can see how big the brooch is.  Pardon how tired I look.

Cute little pouches. I still need to find a nice drawstring for both of these.  The blue pouch was an awful lot of fun to do because of the shape.

Tabi Pouches:

Lining:

More Tabi Pouches.  Can you tell I like making these?

Showing the lining of the pouches...the indigo pouch and the pink pouch have the most awesome linings in them - I wish I was in the position to take better photographs of them.

Kimonolets <- a word my husband made up.  These are wrist cuffs/bracelets that are reversible.  One side has a cute kimono print - the other side kanoko shibori!  hmmm yum!

The other sides!

Basket Pin Cushions!

Now...for my darn wrist to heal - trust that to happen right as I get a crafting spurt!

Everything is so cute and looks like it was made with tender loving care. I hope your wrist feels better soon. Somehow, I can almost imagine the mishap. About a month ago I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go downstairs. Somehow I managed to get my night shirt caught on the hand rail. I was not thinking clearly, so I yanked on it and fell down the stairs and landed on my butt. I was okay, but my pride was bruised.

ducktape_diva - Thank you so much for your kind words :] I have to say, I adore your avatar! And yikes - I'm glad I don't have stairs in my apt as I'm likely to have a similar accident!  All I did this morning was just pull the blanket over me as I was cold...and I guess I did it in such a way that I strained my wrist.  I honestly feel like a dork Tongue

Melissa_Bumbles - Thanks!  That particular flower is my favourite, also...along with the half moon shaped one :]  Tabi are the split toe socks worn with traditional Japanese clothing.  You can keep your tabi in them - out of the way...they are kind of like those fancy pouches women used to keep bra and panties in...but - these are for tabi.  The pouches are actually quite large - and I am going to call the accessory pouches on my website :]  My website is/will be www.puchimaiko.com (also www.pucchimaiko.com).  My husband and I are currently finalizing the web store :]  Hopefully by the end of this month there will be something there.

djungelorms friend - Awww.....shucks *blushes* :]  I get most of my kimono fabric direct from Japan through a friend.  However - you can get kimono fabric from Ebay :]

vanishing_star - thanks!  I'm pretty chuffed with my cuffs also.  *groan* ;P

krazigal72 - Actually...All these items were made with the intent to sell...if you are interested, you can email me at < alustrial at gmail dot com >  :]

:oI don't even knew what to say  Roll Eyes
I admire your precision. Especially with that blue pouch that has unusual shape, it is really pretty. I also like the cuffs idea. That is great whey to add a bit of color to your clothes without using a lot of material.
 Good lack to you.

ok, I NEED to learn how to sew...beads & knitting can no longer satisfy now that I've seen your amazing items...but sewing machines scare me, so maybe I'll just check out your website!
