So I was at the goodwilll a few weekends ago, and found this great box.  It looks like a mini armoire (sp)  and being only $3 I snatched it up.  It was in really good shape to.  The only thing wrong with it, it's ugly!  Ok, i like the cherries and all, but the orangey-yellow color it is, is just hideous!!

here it is being dismantled:

And here we are all ready to go!

I have since sanded it and put a few coats of paint on it.  Since my kitty was a siamese/tabby mix, i did it multi-colored like him.  he was cream with grey, and he had stripes, and beautiful blue eyes!  Such a little angel!  I'm really excited to finish this box.  I'm going to put butterfly background inside, and a different butterfly paper on the doors.  He kind of reminds me of a butterfly being the free spirit that he was.  Very friendly with all the neighbor cats, but one.  he was very special, and I miss him a lot.  I'm making thie memory box/shrine to honor him.  He was only 10 months old, but I feel like he had been with me for 10 years.  I miss him so.  Here is a pic of my beautiful little guy.
