I've been on a button kick lately and recently made this.

I glued the buttons to some textured scrap paper I had and then sewed them to it using pink embroidery floss.
I really like how it came out and plan on making more.  I'm picturing different shapes, colors and using fabric instead of paper, etc.. The best part is I still have a fairly massive button collection so I shouldn't run out of buttons too soon.

If you did it on fabric I think it would make a great decorative cushion, or maybe a cover for a journal.

I really love this.  I have a nice button collection too, and it would be something I would love to display. Smiley

I love this...

I was actually thinking "a button heart?!?  I need to make one too" then I remembered what my avatar was.  I was just delirious with the button love for a second...though it must be said, yours is FAR prettier.

Awesome job.

I'm loving the button art. I'm seeing it everywhere now and there's a wide variety of things you can do with them.
