I think maybe the lizard is a bit too big, or something.
This is a gift for my son's girlfriend, she likes green and a lizard was the first thing that came to mind Smiley

Jane

My very first pattern
(if you want a bigger on just have more tail, and use a bigger hook)
I used simply soft and a H hook which made a smaller lizard than on the bag

You're working down one half of the lizard from the nose to the tail

Chain 36

Head:
Start at 2nd chain from hook
1 sc, 1hdc, 2dc, chain 3
Join to the next main chain with a sc

Neck:
4sc

Leg:
Chain 7 (3 for leg, 3 for first toe and 1 to turn)
*sl st into second chain from hook
2sl
Chain 4*
Repeat twice more so you have 3 toes, leaving out the final chain 4 on the last toe
Join with a sl st to in the base of the first toe.
3sl st

Tummy:
2sc , 2hdc, 2dc, 1hdc, 1sc

Leg as above

Tail:
17sc, 2sl st, chain 2 to turn around the end of the tail.

Up the other side!

2sl st
17sc

Leg as above

Tummy:
1sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 2hdc, 2sc

Leg as above

Neck:
4sc

Head:
Chain 3, 2dc, 2hdc, 1sc

Finish off

As I said, this is the first time I've ever written anything down so please let me know if it's confusing, or just plain wrong Smiley

I think it's great! I think the size is great. Did you use a pattern for the lizard?

I don't think the lizard is too big either! It looks as if it is walking around...

It looks great, good job!  Smiley

Oh! thank you!
I didn't use a pattern, I kinda made it up as I went around.
I'll make another lizard and write it down this time.

Oh my gosh, LIZARD!! EEEE! I love lizards, heh. Absolutely adorable. I might have to make my own (though I'm not sure what to put him on. hmmm).

And, by the way, I think he's great. Good job on the first time pattern writing!

I have the perfect yarn to make this lizard!  I've had it in my stash forever, now I know what to do with it!  Thank you for sharing.  I love it!

Aww thanks Smiley
I'd love to see if anyone makes one, it'd be kind weird, lol, seeing one made by someone else.
