I, too, received my package today. This one is a DIY Lip Balm kit created by the lovely Burgz!

Thank you so much, Burgz! I can't wait to get into my new house so I can try out my new craft!

Hehe, lovely Embarrassed I'm glad you like it!

I was terrified the bottle of oil would leak, but it seems to have gotten there safely. I had a sheet of blank labels for you but I forgot to put them in the box Undecided

I've also emailed you the video-tute, let me know if you don't receive it...

I already posted pics of what Elizabethsmom sent me, but what I haven't posted is pics of the bag I made. I was cleaning up my craft space before I left for a flight and decided to take a closer look at the fabric she sent me. I hadn't realized she already pre-cut all the pieces for me! So.. I had to start right then and there, flight be damned!

I got all the sides sewed and ironed before I had to put it aside and leave for my trip, but I finished it as soon as I got back into town. I've been using is as my work/bare essentials bag since before I even put the final stitch in it. I LOVE it!!

I made the inner liner so that it'd be my laptop's home and it fits PERFECTLY. If my laptop was half an inch larger, it wouldn't work at all.

It fits my laptop, sketch book, notepad, charger, camera, wallet and phone perfectly. I can't squeeze anything else in, and that's exactly how I want it! I've gotten lots of comments on the fabric and the bag itself, as well as requests! I've been debating putting some sort of outside zipper pocket on the front or side for my phone, but not sure... it'd be a tight fit by the strap. Look! I even made the strap!

I've never been so proud of something I've sewn before, and it's all thanks to Elizabethsmom! Thank you thank you! I messed up a lot.. and its far from perfect.. but for my first real venture into sewing 3D objects I think I rocked it!!

Since my other partner already received, here is the tutorial I made :

My crochet tutorial for my other partner was a failure T_T FAILURE! The other tutorials I sent her are much more clear, my camera wasn't picking up the yarn very well so it was difficult to see what I was doing  Undecided

These kits are all so great, and that bag is awesome, tar!

I think my kit got held up overseas by the volcano, but hopefully it makes its way to me soon!

My partner received, so I'm posting the pics. I didn't get a pic of everything individually, since they're mainly just supplies and everyone knows what tape looks like  Wink

Here is everything packed in its box and ready to fly across the ocean...

And here's everything spread out. I sent 5 different colors of fabric paint, 2 blank shirts for her to work on, the example piece (a shirt with an octopus stencil. Octopi were a recurring theme on her wist), x-acto knife, freezer paper (had to take it out of the box and re-roll it so it would fit in the shipping box), 10-12 stencils themed like the things I found on her wist (plus an extra of each just in case), tutorial, a couple sundry items, and because she likes tea and cocoa, I sent a stack of some of my favorite teas as well as a jar of homemade hot cocoa mix...
