I love watching the YouTube videos, that's such a cool idea.

It looks like everyone is getting some really awesome kits!

I must admit that I periodically check out Dizzer on youtube to see if there are any new crafty videos. They're so much fun to watch. They're a really great idea.

All these awesome kits are giving me ideas for the next round!

I received my quilting kit from Just Plain Goose yesterday.  It is a quilting kit and she did a GREAT job not just on the kit but an answering all my questions that I have had about quilting.  She printed out an instruction book with pictures she took in making a mini quilt for me of the same pattern JUST WONDERFUL.  She got the colors and the patter perfect!  Thank you so much

Here is everythign in the kit!

note the already cut pieces, the matched thread and pins!  LOVE AND NEEDED IT ALL!

And here is the BEAUTIFUL sample quilt she made for me.  I am going to hang it!  Measures about 11.5 by 13.5!

Those are all valid points.. Turns out that this is actually the 12th round of DIY Craft Kits, but due to my poor research, I completely missed that. I'm down for doing a Round 13 at some point, but I'll probably want to space it out a little. Give everyone time to work on the crafts they learn in this round.. And give me a break from organizing. Maybe July?

Double post.. oh noes! That's okay, this is Official Swap Business. Dun dun dunnnnnnnn...

We have four swappers who haven't sent or notified us! If you're one of those four, PM your group mod ASAP with a DC number or reason for shipping late. We'll be sending out PMs tomorrow and start getting our red markers ready...

If you've received, make sure you PM who sent to you, and your group mod, to let them know you got the goods. The person that sent to you will not receive feedback until you post pictures in the gallery! So make sure you post pics ASAP.

In other news.. I got no other news. It rained today? I'm in a silly mood? Yeah.. that's all I got.

I received my Stencil Kit today from Jaders. Which is absolutely fantastic considering all the flights issues.

She made me a super Chicken bag.  Grin and sent instructions and equipment to make my own stencil.

Can't wait to make my own.

OK well both of my partners have had their packages for over a week and I wanted to share what I sent.  Both packages actually stretched my skills but I was VERY happy with how they came out!
This is the package I sent to wonderwoman1976...... Stuffies

a  baxter bunny and a matryoshka doll.

I also sent fat quarters, fabric cut for each example made.  I also sent patterns printed for those two and three other stuffies

For icebyrd67 I made a needle felting kit.  Unfortunately I did not take pics of the full kit... but I sent 6 colored wools, some polyfill to use as a base for the feltings, two single needles and one multiple needle tool and two sizes of foam to use as a base.  Here are the examples I made.  I took pics during my making of the mushroom and put them in a hand bound book.

Thanks for looking!
