This list is ever changing and, truthfully, I haven't figured out what all I'm doing yet!

Sister: A matching scarf and hat.
BIL: Same as above. I am also going to make them about 5 market bags since they like going to the farmer's market and such.
Niece: A co-worker's husband made me a rocking rubber ducky out of wood. The only thing I need to do is paint it! I might make her more bibs and a hat.
A hat to match mom's.
A hat to match dad's.
Sweater from Lion Brand patterns.
A pixie hat to match the LB sweater.

Mom: My sister and I are chipping in together to get her a camera so she can take pictures of her new granddaughter. I think I'm going to print her all the pictures I've taken so far and organize them in a photo box. Might also get her more scrapbooking supplies. AND, weave her a little basket organizer for her scissors and such.

Dad & his Wife: I might make some beachy Christmas decorations. I was going to do this last year and didn't have enough time.
Dad's Wife: Scarf

Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles: I believe I am going to weave them all bread baskets. I think I might also make that grapevine ball suet birdfeeder I've seen on here. They all like feeding the birds in their yards.

Purple means started.

Struck through means completed.

Everyone is telling me it's too early to plan, so this is making me feel less alone! I'm so excited for christmas!

So far i know that my one friend is going to get a toooon of stuff related to vodka, and accessories. Trying to figure out how I can mix the two.

I think my coworkers are gonna get cookie mix in a jar.

No clue. Time to start making lists.

I started in the summer but have not been as diligent as I need to be.  My goal is to do all handmade gifts from supplies in my stash, for $ reasons, and because I am moving cross country in the spring and need to use up or thin out stash.

Mom - 2 pair of socks, one and 1/3 pair completed
#1 Daughter - socks, completed
Son - dead fish hat from Knitty
Elderly Auntie - Photo book to be ordered from Blurb.  Possibly some mittens if I have extra time.  Photos will be from those I already have on Flickr.  I've already started compiling this.
Brother - custom mix CD's
Grandchildren and little nephew - dead fish hats
Co-Workers - knit bird ornaments
And for everyone the usual cookie trays

There are a fair number of people on my list who are not good candidates for the handmade, so they will get books or gift cards.  No point in trying to please them and the expenditure is about the same.

My sweetheart and I have pledged to make each other gifts.  I am thinking for her I will do a bicycle helmet bag (created out of my own brain to keep her helmet from getting scratched in transit) and I have Mr. Foster (knit sock monkey with clothes) from knitpicks bought some time ago but not started yet. It looks like a complicated project, but I know she will love it.

I've been reading the 'what are you making for 2008' for the past few days and just found this post! I thought I was crazy for thinking about Christmas already..glad to see I'm not alone. I've got my list started but it's not organized at all!!

DH..crochet hat and whatever he decides to buy himself(I let him pick one thing lol)

all 4 of my kids and my 2 nieces are getting the same things..pj's, lounge pants, hats, scarves, slippers(if time)
my 4 will also get quilts(hopefully) and personalized pillowcases

mom..we craft together so really not sure  Huh
dad..new slippers, shot glass cabinet, nutty basket

sister..not a clue
bil...again no clue

teachers..one wants a princess skirt(for the fairy ball at school..she teaches kindergarten lol)
the others will likely get something crocheted, handmade, or baked

mil...ah crap..I think this year that's going to be on the hubs to figure out

that's it for the handmade..of course there will be a few things bought but my goal is to do mostly handmade. Why did i decide to do that this year..when I'm 4 months pregnant already?? I have no clue!!! I just hope I can get it all done..or at least most of it.

Gosh.  I printed out my list of must craft for, and I finished only one gift.  I still need to finish my ideas!  I'm already SOOOO far behind!  Must.Get.Moving!

(I made a set of churchy notecards for my MIL.  She likes doing the secret sister program @ church and thought she would be able to use them)
