My family exchanges a homemade gift every year at christmas, and this year I made reusable air fresheners.

I cut two tree shapes out of felt for each freshener, added christmas tree scented oil, and glued the two together.  I punched a hole at the top and looped through some embroidery thread and a suction cup.  I made the label in Publisher and just stapled it to the cellophane bags.  More essential oil can be added to refresh the scent as needed.

Great idea!  I like the idea of the air fresheners being reusable.  There is not gift like the one made by your own hands.  I'm sure your family can't wait to see what you come up with next.

That is so cool!  Our air freshener never ever lasts so this is a great idea.

Great idea. So you just put the scented oil right on the felt?

Yep, I just put it right on the felt.  I tried not to drop too much on any one spot so it wouldn't be so saturated that it leaked all the way through.
