Here's my superflowery spring dress... I used one of the Butterick "Retro" patterns, B5033. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Now I just need a giant straw hat and an invite to a garden party.  Smiley

Athena: Today I was beat in a weaving contest by a mortal, so I threw a little bit of a hissy fit at her, so she hung herself...long story short she's a spider and everyone thinks I'm a bitch. FML

I'm in Canada, so I got the fabric at a store called Fabric Land (think the Joann's of Canada). It's a linen print. They had a whole collection of very spring-like linen prints. I chose the brightest one  Smiley

Hmmm...  I think DH would be a bit upset with me if I decided to get a passport ($96) solely for the purpose of scoring some great fabric.  I'll have to wait for the next swap that exchanges stuff between countries.  Wink

If Fabric Land has linen and wool "blends" that are not mostly polyester, you've got the better end of things.  Smiley
