Again, I protest my love to the hippies. And I would like to point out that I never said the phrase "dirty hippies." Although I did speak about them in the context of using soap...so you know....yeah...

I live near the People's Republic of Boulder, so I totally reserve the right to call people "dirty hippies." Then I shake my fist at them at tell to get a haircut and turn that damn Phish down! Wink

I may have to check BB's Dragon Blood out (for the record, I do not like the Cybilia line at all!) for my friend's sake. I cannot stand the stuff (gives me the worst headache) but she looooooooves it and is always asking me to soap some for her.

Thanks!

Some of my fave blends with patchouli (I don't use the soap, but these are blends I don't mind making lol! I don't think I could make a straight patchouli batch) are patchouli and black cherry, and one time I did patchouli, lime essential oil, and a touch of black pepper

I opened this from the hot new projects so as soon as I saw that first picture I just said "Man, I want some fudge!!" But I guess I can still use it to wash my mouth out (Christmas Story, anyone?) So yummy looking, I certainly wouldn't mind soaping up with those as long as we've established that I can't eat them Tongue

So cool. Gotta try making soap some day Cheesy

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the dragon's blood soap looked like marbled fudge!  Beautiful soap, regardless!  I wish I had some!

the look great and I wish I could smell them *scratches and sniffs computer screen*

Heres a bit of humor I thought Id share..
We live in Michigan and our favorite place to visit here is Mackinac Island which is famous for its fudge. Every time we to the kids love to watch in the big windows while the candy people make the fudge into logs and cut them into slices.
Well one of my kids was walking past as I was looking at your pictures and he caught a glimps of your brown soap and said "hey that person has pictures of the fudge we seen this summer"  Cheesy
He thought it was slices of fudge

That's awesome!

My brother no longer tries anything I make in the kitchen without asking a couple of times if it's really food. Whipped shea butter looks remarkably like frosting!  Cheesy

All of you soap makers out there are inspiring me!  Sadly, I am a 23 yr old (2 weeks away from 24 yr old) that lives in a small house with my parents and adult brother. I fear I do not have enough room for the process.  BUT!  In the hopes that I may be able to pull it off outside once it's consistently warmer, do you have any advice/links/how to's that I can have a look over? I would greatly appreciate any help.

LOVELY soaps by the way!  I always think it's a cake (an edible one, not a cake of soap  Undecided Grin ) because they are soo pretty!
