Yay!  I've been watching for this one and just sent my questionnaire in.  I added themes I didn't like as well, hope that's ok!

I love caricatures!  My best friend and I got one done at Hershey Park last year.  We both love Rocky Horror and we asked the artist if he could base us around that.  He said he knew a little about Rocky Horror.  So we sat and we got alot of weird looks from people passing by.  Turns out he knew the movie well, when he was done, he had me in a skimpy outfit and my friend in a maid's outfit and between us was the statue of Michelangelo's David, not the front, but the rear.  So I guess alot of people were wondering why there was a butt between us  Cheesy.  I love the picture and I think he did a great job.

I guess I am unfamiliar with Rocky Horror but I would love to see that caricatures lol
One of the favorites that I have is of my husband as superman and myself as wonder woman. Every time I see it I cannot help but to laugh.  Grin
There are some really neat videos of people doing caricatures on youtube.
Check out this caricatures/ portraits artwork that this guy does.
It is completely creepy but if you are into zombies you will totally dig it Smiley

Give me a day or so and I'll probably be signing up. I'm re-doing my craft room next month and will need some fun wall art in my new color scheme. Smiley

Just as a guideline... What size art are we looking at here? I realize it's three points, but I'm talking actual physical size? I'm just wondering, because shipping a three foot canvas would be expensive. Some things can be rolled up in tubes or folded away, but other can't.

Thanks in advance!

As far as portraits go, I actually listed that I would love a rendering of my dogs or a fun rendering of my husband and I (so yes, I'd be so good with sharing photos  Grin), which going into the next question; caricatures could be way fun!

I used to love getting them but they always made me look old  Tongue  I think that people were always afraid of offending me by drawing my chubby cheeks, and then without them I looked like a 40 year old!  So, I was never happy with them of me but that doesn't mean I would've enjoy another try... it's been yearrrrrrrs since my last one and it's still hanging in my bedroom (it's of me AND hubby  Wink)

I hope that my future partner is inspired by my list.  I'm also off to go wisting art and tagging it "art" in my wist for easy looking up!  Wink

Oh! edit: I don't think 40 is old AT ALL but when you're 17 (at the time), you don't want to look 20+ years older  Wink lol!!!

I'm seriously thinking about this one. I Love drawing-its why I'm going to art school.
And portraits are one my favorite things to do.  I have also been wanting to try a zombified portrait.

My concern is the size of the pictures themselves.  For example if you ship an 11x12 canvas painting, that can be extremely epensive. So is there a size requirement for this? Or is that something we discuss with our partner?

Also are we needing to work on canvas boards or is watercolor (etc) paper fine?

And lastly, are we supposed to matte and/or frame these for our partner? Or can wee just send them the art piece and then they can do the rest?

Thanks in advance.
