I didn't have enough yarn for a full sweater and my daughter wanted something out of the purple loopy fuzzy yarn. The aforementioned yarn is a grand total of 13.7yrds. yes folks thats the whole skein for $5.99 ( i didn't buy it, it was a gift). not even enough for a scarf....so I made a little girlie shrug.
But its way darn cute and she loves it.

and the back...

Ohhhhh, how cute! The girl looks like a natural posing with it on! That is a VERY small skein. Wow. And expensive for so little. The gift-giver is probably not a knitter themselves, I take it? Beautiful though.

What a nice idea for a small amount of yarn. Does your daughter know how to 'Vogue' yet--because I think she might be ready to learn!

Thank you for your compliments. My daughter indeed thinks she is a model. She can even do her own litlle 'cat walk.' SHe's been on stage for dance and vocal competitions so she isn't camera shy. Whenever I take pics she works it...lol.

If anyone is interested I'll post the pattern.

Thanks!

I was just going to ask.. I'd love a pattern !!! I can already picture my little girl in one of those, PLUS what a fabulous way to use all these "can't afford to buy more but it's so gorgeous I have to buy one ball" yarns ...!!
It's really lovely ... and nicely worn !!!

Oh, I  too would love a pattern. My seven year old sister wants one of these but of all the patterns I see online, I haven't been able to find a child size one.

Thanks for sharing! It is indeed very very cute.  Cheesy

I will definitly post the pattern. I couldn't find any online either, thats why I wrote this one. So being copywritten, I'll post it (because crafters rock) and you can make it, but can't sell anything you make with the pattern. Thanks:D
I'll have it up this weekend.
