I love it!!
The only thing I could possibly think of would be maybe leaving off the "." after "Please save the date"
For some reason my brain says it could also be written:
                                                                                        Please Save the Date
                                                                                    Formal Invitation to Follow
Just  thought!
That picture is so great! It's hard to get a close, clear picture of a ring! And the colors are so pretty!

thanks all
Snips n Snails... I thought about the period as well... either that or add one to the invite follow part... Maybe I should ask an english teacher haha I'm horrible with the grammar stuff... I'll look online too and see what I can find.
I love my ring so much... and I LOVE taking pictures of it in flowers -- but I must say the peony works best!

Thank you Gannon -- that's kind of our goal of the whole wedding.. simple but beautiful

the picture is great :-)

you could also make the last two lines one:

Please save the date formal invitation to follow. (but if you do, use the right kind of "")
then you could make the " are getting married" line a little bigger -> i think this one is almost as important as the date, so it could be almost as big as the date or maybe bold?

i hope you know what i mean  Wink

congrats on getting married!

Should the "4" be spelled out??

I believe the rule of thumb is to spell out any number under 100 or so. So I'd say, yeah, use the word "four" rather than the number. And I would suggest to put the date in bold to make it stand out even more. Gorgeous invitations! And I love that since you took the photo and it's your own engagement ring inside the tulip it makes the invitations even more personal. Great job!

Thanks!
The font is actually already bold... so I'm not sure if I can make it "bolder" Unless I mess with the other lines not being bold.
I do have "four" spelled out now... I'll try to put it some of the other ways and most likely post for opinions!
I love that there are people out there who love to help others!
