question: I never really sell my soap I just use it myself and give it away all the time. That being said.. how many ounces do most of you cut your soap to. Lol... I don't want people thinking I am elchepo! I am ording my fragrance oils tomorrow...  HAHA ... love hot process.. I get to cheat a small bit and do it a bit later.. btw Lique I am still addicted to that lemon tart I am hoarding my last couple bars. Trying to hide them from my mother as she is addicted as well... SO with that being said I am absolutely making lemon tart!

I say that mine are minimum 4 or 4 1/2 ounces (sometimes they are heavier, depends on the molds I use), but lots of people make smaller or larger bars. As long as they are priced accordingly and you let people know how much they weigh I don't think anyone will feel ripped off! Sometimes I love to have a smaller bar for traveling (yes, I always take soap with to travel, you think I'm gonna use the crap they give me in hotels??) or a big giant one to hang in my shower at home (yes I have fancy soap hangers so the water can drain out and my soap lasts longer!)  Cheesy

My frustratingly vague guideline would be anything over 2.5oz. and under 6oz. is fine for one bar. Like MareMare, mine typically hover in the 4-4.5oz. range, and that seems to be pretty typical. I think the biggest bars I've ever seen at craft fairs have been 5oz., and I've never seen anything under 2.5, which is how I came up with those numbers, lol.

Okay, in 45 min, I'll send everyone your sending partners and update the swap.

As an FYI, I will be sending PMs at the beginning of the week just to check-in on folks, and I will expect a reply sometime within the week. I won't be psycho about it and demand replies that day, but just to make sure we don't have any flakers, forgetters, etc. Not that I think we will; that is the benefit of such a small swap. Grin

Alright, partners are listed and everyone should have gotten a PM from me with names/addresses. If for ANY reason you do not see your name listed 5x on the first post, please let me know! It's all looking good to me, but I'm totally blond so mistakes can happen! Wink
