I think it might be cheaper to mail in a bubble mailer than the small flat rate box. I paid $3.55 for each of mine first class with delivery confirmation, figure $.80 for the bubble mailer and the flat rate box is $4.95 plus $.75 or whatever for DC.
I thought it would be cheaper too to send in bubble mailer but after weighing and figuring in dc# it was cheaper to do use flat rate boxes and dc was free when purchased online.  I guess it also depends on the weight of each persons soaps, mine might have been heavier soaps.  Undecided  I paid $4.85 each package.

It was definitely cheaper for me.  And if you don't have bubble mailers you can use small non-flat rate boxes or wrap your soaps with bubble wrap and paper.  If I had used flat rate boxes it would have cost more than $25 but because I didn't it cost under $19.

~Announcement~

Hey guys, I got a call from Nymeria this morning and she is really sick and was going to the hospital. It sounds like Pneumonia Sad Please continue to send your DC #'s and send/receive pm's to her inbox. She will get everything caught up when she feels better. If it ends up being a while, I'll step in have the swap mods help take care of feedback. In the meantime, if you have any specific questions, please cc me on any pm's you send to her and I will try to help out.

If you haven't sent out yet, please do so ASAP! The sendout date was Saturday. If you haven't sent, please send Nymeria, myself, and your partners a pm stating when you will do so. If people have that have already sent out and pm'd Nymeria want to pm me too (or post here or in the gallery thread I am about to make) to let me know they have sent so I can check your name off, that would be cool Wink

I'm going to try something tricky to start a gallery with a first post by Nymeria so she can later edit sendout stuff. I'll post back here when I get it up.

Oh that's not bad! My printer is broken, but I do love to print postage from home and get that free DC. You must have monster bars of soap! Mmm, giant soap!  You can send up to 15 ounces first class before you have to pay more for priority mail, so I try to make my packages under that. These ones were around 10 ounces I think. My soap is usually pretty close to 4.5 ounces.

so I sent today..my friendly neighborhood PO lady was VERY helpful in suggesting a flat rate box as I sent a certain 'extra' in my box in an attempt at making up for my late sending Smiley

anywho..the PO only had 3 flat rate boxes..soo I took the biggest of the 3 threw them into the FR box and left the other 2 in the bubble mailer..she was super nice and awesome Smiley

I received from goatgoddess today..I will send my DC#'s tomorrow to those I sent to AND post some photos of my delish soaps that I have received thus far..

poor Nymeria! let us know how she is doing..

MareMare thanks for the update - hope Nymeria is feeling better!

my daughter just had her first baby yesterday so I've been way busy with that - mom and baby Zoey are doing well today and if my daughters blood pressure stays down they get to go home today Smiley

but will get some pics of my soap I got from RavingRosemary - love the packaging and the scents!  now to unwrap them - but pics first Smiley
