I just got commissioned to make 2 baby quilts....which when we went to purchase material turned into 3 baby quilts and 2 baby blankets! Yikes! So I probably will send soap that I just made. Any requests? I made 8 batches last week, the posts are floating around here somewhere.

Oh! I didn't realize you were an HP soaper! That's awesome, I think you're our only HP-er, so it'll spice things up!

I love HP soap, but it always seems like such a hassle to me, lol. I think once you learn one way, the other seems so totally alien, hehe. Cheesy

I would like to join but I haven't made soap and it sounds like this isn't for people new to making it. I have all my ingredients because I have really wanted to...can I join even if I'm not a pro soap maker?

You don't have to be a "pro" but this isn't for first time soapers. Sorry! We do various bath and beauty swaps on a regular basis around here, there should be another one soon Wink

Indeed, Maremare is correct. I'd like people to have at least 4-5 batches under their belt before joining the swap. Though this is, by no means, restricted to pros!! Depending on how folks feel, we will most likely do one of these in the fall, too. Get a few batches made, get more comfortable with the craft and we'd love to have you next round. Smiley

yeah I think the scariest part about the HP is that I have to lick the soap for the lye content. The first time I ever did it the soap was still lye heavy.... BUZZ... LOL.... I knew there was no way I could wait on my first batch so I learned HP from watching youtube and reading every single post on here about it. YAY for being the odd duck
