Haven't done an OTT in a while.  This should be fun and interesting.  :-)

Based on the swap questionaires, I think some of you might enjoy my favorite podcast.  I must share.  It is just so cool/sciency/nerdy!  It is called The Skeptic's Guide to the Universe and you can hear it at theskepticsguide.org or on iTunes.  Enjoy!

Quick question, if instead of one 4 x 4 thing, we wanted to do a handful of dime size things, that would be ok, right? I'm starting to get ideas...

Attention swappers!  The current list of participants is on the front page.  Please check the list AND your profile to make sure you are in the swap.  PM me if I need to correct something.  I already made one error.   Tongue

Staar84, I think if the tiny things naturally go together, like stitch markers or a magnet set, then those should count as an OTT.  What do the rest of you swappers think?

My pal used her uber-phone this weekend, and her gps, and her blog software, to track exactly where we went while we rode the ferries around the San Juan Islands. As she was hand-waving and waxing eloquently about the whole setup, I turned to my other friend and, in a big loud stage whisper behind my hand, whispered "GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK". We all cracked up because really, we are ALL as geeky as she is. I love making fun of another geek's geekiness knowing full well that I'll get it in return not long after. Smiley And we're all crafters! So it was all good, and they are anxious to see what partner I get and what I'll make!  WOO!

Wooo!!! Geek stories!

Yesterday in chemistry class my teacher, who is a huge goofball, was telling a story about a student in his class. The teacher said he was watching The Big Bang Theory and was wondering what they call a girl geek. This obvious geek in his class who was a physics major, and proud of it, answered the question by saying "AWESOME!!"

I really liked that story because I'm a physics major and a huge geek. lolz!

I love that.  Most people don't think geeky girls are awesome.  Or at least most of the guys I meet don't.
