so,  i made this portrait embroidery for a friend's birthday, but i'm not sure if i should give it to her. i'm afraid it doesnt look enough like her, or that it looks like a busted version of her (she's quite pretty). i think i may add a border or some type of decoration because its looking a bit plain to me. i dont know, do you think i should give it to her?

critiques/comments greatly appreciated. thanks!

maybe you could 'color' it in but not the whole thing... like maybe the lips and eyes or something... and not like a heave handed color more of a color wash... I think it looks good... you could do a border too...

That's a great present! I think adding a quote that she says alot or something from an inside joke you have with her plus some colour and/or a border would make it super-duper-awesomely-EXTRA-great! I think I'd cry if my bff gave me such a sweet prezzie Cheesy

Cheesy You could embroider words around the edge that describe her...i.e.-beautiful, generous, etc...

I think it's a great present. Maybe add her favorite saying or something like that at the bottom? I think it's fine the way it is.
