So today I took a break from crafting for the favorite color swap (and from studying!) to make this charm bracelet. Some of the charms reminded me of the Queen of hearts, so there are a lot of hearts on the bracelet. There is also a crown, because what is a queen without a crown? A spider, just because. a small pair of scissors as my homage or lament for the Hatter having to design hats for the red queen in the new movie, a red rose, a white rose ( representing the opposing queens. the white one is much smaller but perhaps that is because her ego isnt as big as the red queens?), a birdie charm, glass leaves, bone beads, a small metal charm that says "thrive", and various other pretties.

the photos of this bracelet were incredibly hard to get right for some reason, so excuse the blurriness. they do not do the bracelet justice.

above is a really cool charm i found that just matched the color scheme, plus i just love plaid!

the crown, red rose and birdie

Thanks for looking!
This bracelet is up for personal swap especially for handspun yarn just pm me if you are interested:)

Thank you Knitting Chemistry, the handspun yarn was just an example of something I like, I am willing to swap for all kinds of things:) I just love to swap stuff! I also really love to make loaded charm bracelets! I was thinking of doing a White Queen themed one next, and then a hatter one, but those take a little more planning on my part.

You're welcome! Oooh a Hatter one would be awesome, I love his character in the Tim Burton version! I really haven't swapped much before (they are a bit intimidating  Embarrassed ) Yeah I really like the loaded charm bracelets, they're so pretty! Sadly I really don't have much time to make things right now (I mostly knit and crochet things) but perhaps when I am out of school for the summer then I can swap something for a bracelet as cool as that!  Wink Still very nice work!

UGH I so know what you mean by school taking up your time. I am in the middle of my second semester and even with a lighter load this time its still sucking up my time. But I guess it is my fault for picking Forensic Anthropology as a course of study lol. Soooo many requirements!

haha yeah! I am half way through my junior year for forensic chemistry and it just takes all my time, although like you I chose this! So sad!! Forensic Anthropology sounds crazy hard though too! Good luck with it!  Grin

lol it seems crafty people love forensics! Chemistry I think would be a bit too hard for me, though i do have to study some toxicology which dabbles in chemistry. I started working on the White Queen bracelet this morning. When it is finished I think I will leave the pictures up to my boyfriend. He is much better at taking quality pictures than I am, and I have a feeling this one will be even harder to properly photograph:)

I think you are right, that's crazy! Yeah chemistry is slowly stealing my soul I think but I do enjoy it!  Grin Ooh I can't wait to see the White Queen bracelet! And don't worry your pictures aren't too bad at all (way better than my junky cell phone ones!)  lol
