First to post pics Huzzah!!!

My partner was Scrappy Sue and she spoilt me rotten!!!
Prepare for the awesomeness!!!

First it call came in a HUGE box!
No pics of the box (i was too excited!)

I opened it to find a beautiful old case! With a Ouija board on the front!!!
I have this on my wists!!! Sue personalised it even more by adding a green dragonfly to the Ouija board!!!  Grin

Then I opened it and it was full of goodies."
But first I have to show you the awesome inside of the case - Sue lined it with dragonfly silk material!!!

Then I found these little gems!!!
A hair feather clip - very tribal gypsy!!!
An apothecary jar - i have these on my wist too Tongue
A charm set for on my wall - might become an anklet!

Next I found a gypsy whimsy wall thingy!
It's painting was inspired by gypsy caravans (which I love!)

Then I found this beautiful green skirt!
I'm going to adapt it so I can wear it for my belly dancing!!! (It's a wee bit long at the moment)
It has beautiful fabric - shinny! lol

Lastly There was this treasure!
A beautiful vest. It is so pretty and so well made!
Big Ape was very kind in modeling it!
Sue included a fastener for it -not sure if I want to add it!
(Big Ape is short -it's actually a perfect length!)

Thankyou so much ScrappySue I LOVE everything!
I brought the case straight to visit mum and I had a big fight to keep it -so your handy work is just perfect! Grin
THANKYOU!!!

I received from MoniqueRamsey! and here are the pictures!  PLEASE excuse my hyper-ness, I just learned how to make chai lattes at home and I've been drinking them all day!!

Note: The reason why there are so many items is that Monique and I were assigned as partners for two swaps, the Faire swap and this one. Since the themes were pretty much one and the same for us we just accessorized the hell out of the Gypsy package to fill the requirements of both swaps! I'm posting pictures on this thread of both packages so you can see how Monique made everything match!!

First off: a totally reversible corset belt with mega tassels!!!

Hair thingies! One can never have enough!: these are 2 incredible cowrie falls, two daisy flower hair sticks with ribbon and bindi bell danglies, and 2 very fluffy yarn falls in my favorite color, PINK! can you tell?

And she made jewelery too! Oh yes...Belly dancer gypsies do love their sparklies...She made a beautiful ribbon and rhinestone choker, a pair of red crystal chandelier earrings and this intricately hand-beaded bracelet!

She also gave me this gorgeous veil! I like how it looks with a tribal costume Smiley

She also gave me some cedar sachets for my costume trunk, because humidity is the bane of FL dancers. I've only been able to find those little cedar blocks that don't do crap! She also gave me a baggie of spare parts for my corset belt! Thanks!! All costumes should come with spare parts and coins, I shed at every performance, lol.

And there was much dancing and rejoicing!

Because pink can look bada$$ too Smiley

Thanks MoniqueRamsey!!!! *Hugs!!!*

Wow, not to be cocky, but you look amazing in that stuff. lol I hadn't seen it on an actual body yet, so it's kind of a surprise to me too.  Grin I figured you could use the fabric as a veil or turban, totally up to you. Enjoy and Im glad you like it.

Lol, thanks!! I'm continuing the belly dance swap's action shot tradition in the gypsy swap.  Cheesy
And I love everything, those cowrie falls are straight from my wist and custom made in my colors, you put so much thought into this package the least I could do is get dressed and have the DH take some pics in the backyard. Smiley

You rock! I cannot wait until you get your package! eeee! *bounce bounce*  Cheesy

My loot from MadGypsy!! She totally outdid herself, and her crafts totally are my style! How did she know that I like crescent moons? Must be those Spirit boards she mentioned. Cheesy

She made me a pretty crescent moon mirror, that has incredible detail that my camera failed to pick up, my zoom-ins were all fuzzy. She sent a pretty blue lace bandanna, a awesome leather tribal belt that has been danced in already in-between my allergy fits, and a matching headband! She included a pretty book for writing down choreography notes in and some patchouli incense that smells beautiful!

If you have any better pics MadGypsy, feel free to post em, I lack skillz with the camera so bad it's almost funny!

...And I would so dress up like u did Saturn to show off my new belt if I weren't a mess with these allergies! Yarrg! AHHHH-chooooo! Dang oak pollen!

Onwards with the gypsy loot!

THANK YOU MADGYPSY!!!! You're Awesome!!

Oh I am SO glad you loved it all!  Grin Grin Grin and I have a few pictures I can post but if you manage to get a break from your allergies at some point I would LOVE to see a modeled picture  Grin

Here's the mirror I repainted

It was so awful looking when I found it at the thrift store but I knew I could make something lovely for my partner  Smiley

and here's a shot of the belly dance belt on my mannequin.

I was very excited to open my first swap package!  A generous bounty from Kris Creates!

Here it is all neatly packaged

And my first gift was a gorgeous, soft shawl, that I wore for the rest of the night!

There was a sweet little jewellery box filled with beaded bracelets, a sea-stone necklace, earrings... wow!  They had so many treasures.

Action shots:

A pretty candle holder that makes me want to start up a fortune telling business

AND...
an amazing, reversible scarf/sash/headband (it will be all three)!

AND THEN...

CANDY!
and TEA! (New favourite)

Thank you so much Kris Creates! I love everything.

Wow, these are some of the most beautiful swap items i've seen!
The Ouija bored/ case is super amazing! I'm extremely envious.

So I'm thinking of starting sign-ups for Gypsy Swap Round 2 in the second week of May, any thoughts? I'll probably start an idea thread this weekend.

Here are the photos of what Aisy sent me! I actually received two weeks ago, but between spraining my ankle and trying to get ready for midterms things have been hectic. Sorry for not getting these up sooner!

Here's everything together:

A gypsy-inspired headband, box, wall hanging, earrings and tights. There wasn't a note attached to the package, but I think by the hints she gave in her pm's that Aisy had planned to decorate the tights, but must have either decided not to or ran out of time. The earrings are beautiful and I love them, unfortunately I don't have pierced ears! Ack! But I think I'll take one of them off its hook and put it on a necklace. I've been wearing the headband a lot, its beautiful!

Here's a close-up of the wonderful "Tarot Readings" sign, which I plan to hang outside my room:

And the earrings:
