These are my cherry blossom sushi plates fresh out of the kiln. I am *very* pleased with the results! It's difficult to tell, but the bottom white sheet of glass is opalescent and oddly, one of the two plates (made from the same pieces of glass) decided to bubble a little, but in a very fetching way. Again, you probably won't be able to see this in the photos.

Thank you for all the kind comments! @Weez--I was inspired by the beautiful cherry trees in nearby Washington DC that were graciously donated by the Japanese many years ago.

These plates turned out so well that I'm thinking about making some larger plates, too.
