Good to know! I was gonna use mod podge, but decided against this because I assumed it wouldnt work the same. Now I'll try it.

yeah, it gets really hard though, so it could hurt, you just have to pull it off fast.

My fiancé showed me that you can pinch out stuff from your pores (I don't know if this is a good idea with pimples, and I've never had a blackhead before). I also don't know if it'll work for everyone, but using your index fingers on both hands, find an area on the side of your nose (or forehead, wherever you want to clear your pores) and push. I get excited when the fat "pops" out, and then grossed out. LOL. This works every few days since the gunk under there needs to build up, and don't do it too much if nothing comes out because it'll leave the pinched area red for awhile. Try it :-D

revlon also makes a pore cleaner - you can get them for around $6 at walmart

i tried the glue - although all we have is the gel kind.  it dried great and took off dead skin (which is a good thing) but no blackheads.  i'm gonna try again tomorrow - glue is cheap and i'm gonna experiment a little more.
also, i used my hairdryer on cool to dry my nose fast

i suppose so, but nowhere close to the cost of pore strips, and it took all of 2 minutes and i didn't use it on my hair yesterday - so i'm good --- seriously, it might have been, 1/2 a cent to run my dryer.... let's be real

Oh my gosh, does this honestly work!  Elmer's glue... who woulda thought it!?  ^_^  But does it really get all those black heads out...?  *goes to try it*
