A while back, I posted a ton of cosmetic bags that I made.  I've been working on lots of those, but yesterday I made a different kind, and here they are!

These look like they actually hold enough cosmetics and such.  Shocked Beautifully big. Nice since I can never close mine.

Did you line them? I have been trying to figure out the best way to line that type of pouch.

No, I decided not to line them, because it would just get dirty from the makeup.

Very cute! Where did you buy the fabric for them? I've been searching for a not-too-expensive place to buy some.

I really like that (is it vinyl?) material! They look like great make-up bags!

yes, they are both vinyl.  the gator comes from distinctivefabric.com @ $17/yd and I get my glitter vinyl from voguefabricsstore.com @ $14.99/yd.

Hopefully this isn't against the rules, but distinctive is have a sale all through march, I believe it is 20% off your entire order (don't quote me).  You have to enter the coupon code ALL310 when you check out.  I got the gator fabric for about $15/yd on sale.

Wow!!!!  If you don't mind my asking, what kind of machine do you use to produce such vinyl beauties?  I'm in the market for a new one.

I use a brother pe-350.  It's a sewing and embroidery combo.

Lovely! Looks roomy enough for all the little things and the first one has a great colors. I like the bright pink/yellow combo... very nice!

Would love to try and make some make up bags myself one day...

I've tried to make these before, but the fabric is never stiff enough to hold up by itself. I'll have to try the vinyl next time. I love the first one!
