Bookbinding Workshop @ La Bastellerie

This introductory workshop to bookbinding techniques gives you what you need to make a book with stuff you probably already have.

We’ll be making small books using vintage postcards as the covers and found papers for the text pages.  You’ll learn how to engineer a book and stitch paper to a spine, making a “coptic” bound book – ie. your stitching will be visible.  This also allows for lots of creative expression within a very traditional technique!
