Last year I wanted to make up a bunch of hand bags to sell and gift, but as it was I only did one for a swap. So this weekend I set myself down and made up a new pattern for a bag. I'd picked up the 'handles' the other day and wanted to try them out.

The lining is a quilting fabric I found, I echoed the pattern from the lining on the front of the bag to tie it all together.

It's not overly well made being the test bag, and I forgot to interface it so it would be firmer and sit nicer but what do you think?

Inside theres a pocket to put your wallet in.

And one for scale.

As you can see it's much bigger than my dog Wink

;)This looks great.. I always get confused with lining, so my handbags are usually less sophisticated  Grin

Is that a really tiny bag, or do you have giant hands?  Huh Grin

I really like the way you pulled the design from the lining to the outside with that embroidered detail. Very nice. How tiny is that purse? like an evening bag? or even smaller?

Ya just can't stop a crafty girl!
