Hi everyone,
I have been working on this guy for quite a few months. It didn't actually take me months to crochet, but I stalled when creating the hair and face, worried I would make the wrong choices. But I'm very happy with the way he turned out Smiley

So now I have a David Tennant plushie that is pretty big - 36cm (14in) tall, with an arm span of 27cm (10.5in)
I am really most proud of his overcoat, which initially I had trouble getting to flow behind him, but then realised that if I crocheted vertically instead of horizontally I could achieve this effect!

I am looking forward to seeing other people's creations from the pattern:

I am jealous - your own David Tennant!

The new Doctor starts at Easter here in UK, but I'm going to miss DT.  He was the best Dr Who for me.  Love the DT, that smile and the wit.  Stop I'll start drooling at my desk!  Wink

I knew from the preview on the craftster homepage that it was David Tennant. And how sweet of you to share the pattern. Smiley
He came out perfect! The coat is just adorable, but my favorite bit is his shoes!

Thanks so much everyone for your lovely comments!
This pattern has had a great reception since I posted it up - and lots and lots of people have downloaded the PDF, so I'm really hoping there will be many cuddly Davids around once people get crocheting Smiley

10-point-5 (http://10-point-5.livejournal.com/) has already finished one! so that was very exciting to see it done so fast! Pic here: http://s687.photobucket.com/albums/vv237/10_point_5/?action=view&current=doctorpicwee.jpg

To all those who said they can't crochet, I only learnt last year, so you should totally have a go, it's so fun once you get going

Happy creating Smiley

Thanks for posting the pattern!  I like how his hair sticks up, very much like the real David Tennant's hair.

Thanks all Cheesy
Enjoy crocheting in front of the tv! Cheesy unfortunately drwho is often too exciting to look away from the screen! so it can be hard to crochet during it  Tongue

Hi all,
Just to let you know, Linda has created a pattern add-on which shows how to alter my pattern to make a Rose!

There are also some pics of her John Pertwee and Master that she made with the pattern

Enjoy!
